I am emailing to request the number of tool thefts in your area reported for the year 2023/2024?
Answer 1
There were 327 recorded Burglary, Robbery and Theft offences where property described as Tools or Machinery was classified as Stolen, during 2023/24.

Could you also let me know how many of these tool thefts were from a vehicle?

Of the 327 recorded Burglary, Robbery and Theft offences where property described as Tools or Machinery was classified as Stolen, 48 were recorded ‘Theft from a Vehicle’ offences.
