Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) does hold some information to which your request relates and some of this is being provided to you.
We do not however hold information in relation to request 1, this would be held by the Department for Infrastructure (DFI).
We further consider the information you seek in request number 3 is exempt by virtue of Section 21of FOIA as it is reasonably accessible by other means.
We have also provided you with links to guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) which we have followed in responding to your request.

How many traffic lights are there in your local authority as of 9th January 2026?
Answer 1
Department for Infrastructure (DFI) are responsible for traffic lights.

How many of these traffic lights have fixed traffic light cameras (also known as red light cameras) as of 9th January 2026?
Answer 2
There are 6 Fixed Red Light Running Cameras but these are currently under review.
Request 3
How many cases of cars going through red lights were recorded by the cameras on the traffic lights in your local authority in each calendar year for the following years: 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025
