Your request for information has now been considered. In respect of Section 1(1)(a) of the Act we can confirm that the Police Service of Northern Ireland does hold information to which your request relates. The decision has been taken to disclose the following.

The WAN is provided by BT through the NI PSSN Contract.

The NI PSSN Contract was awarded by NI Department of Finance to BT in November 2018 to provide the new Public Sector Shared Network for the province that came about from the Stormont House Agreement which included a commitment and stated objective of the NI Executive to drive towards the extension of shared services across the NI public sector.
