Detectives are appealing for information following a reported burglary in the Seymour Avenue area of Bangor.

Detective Constable Simpson said: “The burglary is believed to have occurred at some point between 11.00am on Friday 19th June and 7.30pm on Saturday 20th June, when the property was unoccupied. 

"A rear window had been smashed to gain entry. The home was left in disarray, but at this stage it is not confirmed if anything is missing.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1366 20/06/26.

"We would also ask local residents to check their CCTV or doorbell footage."
