Detectives are appealing for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in Enniskillen in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 6th August.

Detective Sergeant Curley said: “At approximately 2.20am we received a report that five men wearing hoods and armed with hammers had entered a house in Kilmacormick Avenue.

“The men broke through the front door of the property and confronted the occupant before realising they had entered the wrong address.

“They then quickly made off in a red coloured Mercedes C Class in the direction of the Cornagrade Road.

“Luckily the resident was uninjured however has been left badly shaken by their ordeal.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with our enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 113 of 06/08/24.”
