Detectives are appealing witnesses following an assault in Belfast City Centre yesterday evening, Saturday 7th September.
Detective Sergeant Ash said: “Shortly before 9pm we received a report that a man had been injured following an assault involving a number of people on Ormeau Avenue.
“Officers attended and a 38 year old man and two women aged 39 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
“All three remain in custody at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault or to anyone with CCTV, dash cam or other footage that could assist enquiries to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1798 07/09/2024.”
