Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland are investigating a burglary and theft from an ATM in west Belfast.
Detective Inspector McCamley said: “Officers received a report on Monday morning, 13th of July that a vacant commercial premises on the Falls Road had been entered, damage had been caused to an ATM and money had been stolen.
“A door at the rear of the property had been forced open to gain entry and extensive damage had been caused to an ATM housed inside the premises in order to remove money.
“At this time we are working to establish exactly how much has been stolen.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, and saw anything suspicious on the morning of Saturday, 12th of July, particularly in the Shiels Street or Brighton Street area, to call police on 101, quoting reference number 679 12/07/25.”
