Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Moira on Monday, 12th January.

Detective Inspector Keon said: “We received a report at around 6.45pm of a burglary in the Oldfort Park area.

“We believe the theft took place sometime between 2.45pm and 6.15pm on Monday. Damage was caused to the back patio door of the property, which was smashed, while the house was ransacked and a quantity of cash taken.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact us on the 101 number, quoting reference 1301 of 12/01/26.

“We’d also be keen to hear from anyone who might have any CCTV, dash-cam or other footage.
