Police in east Belfast are investigating an arson attack at business premises on Imperial Drive, which has completely destroyed five vehicles and damaged one other.
Police received a report of a fire at the premises shortly after 11.30pm on Tuesday night (4th November). Officers responded and attended the scene where the NIFRS was in attendance. Five cars have been completely destroyed as a result of the incident, while one further car sustained heat damage.
Inspector Connolly said: "CCTV footage shows a blue Toyota Yaris, with two males inside, ramming the shutter door to gain access to the yard. The passenger has then exited the Yaris and set the fires on the cars parked in the yard before the Yaris then makes off from the scene in the direction of the Ravenhill Road.
