Police in Armagh are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car this morning, Thursday, 27th November.
Sergeant Gibson said: “We received a report at around 6.45am of a road traffic collision in the vicinity of the Monaghan Road.
“Officers attended, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. A woman in her 50s was subsequently taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
“The Monaghan Road, which was closed in both directions at the junction with Umgola Heights, has now reopened.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone with any information, including CCTV, dash-cam or other footage, to contact us on the 101 number, quoting reference 137 of 27/11/25.
