Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a stabbing in north Belfast.
Detective Sergeant Long said: “We received a report at around 5.10am on Wednesday, 21st January that a man in the Woodland Avenue area had been stabbed in the abdomen.
“Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, who took the male on to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone with any information, including CCTV, dash-cam or other footage, to contact detectives on the 101 number, quoting reference 136 of 21/01/26.
