Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery at a business in west Belfast yesterday afternoon, Friday 27th February.

At approximately 1.30pm, police received a report that a man, armed with a wheel brace had entered the shop in the Brittons Parade area.

The man, who is described as around 5’3, of slim build, wearing a black top with grey tracksuit bottoms, threatened staff before making off with a sum of cash and a bottle of vodka.

Luckily no one was injured, however the staff were left badly shaken by the ordeal.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to get in touch on 101 quoting reference 717 27/02/26.
