Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a fire at a house in the North Howard Walk area of Belfast on Saturday evening, August 9th.
The fire was reported to police at around 10.50 pm, it is believed flammable liquid was poured into the front porch of the property and set alight. A woman who was in the property at the time was thankfully uninjured.
The incident is being treated as arson and anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have CCTV/dash-cam or other video footage which could assist with police enquiries, is asked to contact detectives in Belfast on 101, quoting reference 1874 – 09/08/25.
