A police vehicle was involved in a two vehicle road traffic collision in the Cotton Road area of Bangor on Wednesday, 2nd April.

Shortly after 9am, it was reported that the vehicle was involved with another car.

Two officers and a woman, driving the other vehicle involved, were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The road has since reopened following the collision.

Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and police would appeal to anyone with any information or who may have dashcam footage available from the scene, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 285 02/04/25.
