Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of a burglary on the Lisburn Road in south Belfast this morning, Tuesday 6th May.

At approximately 8.30am, a man entered a shop and threatened staff before making off in the direction of Donnybrook Street with cigarettes and a sum of cash.

The man was wearing a blue puffa style coat, a grey baseball cap, blue shorts and black trainers.

Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, has CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 270 06/05/25.
