Police in Ballymena are investigating a report of the theft of tools from a trailer outside a house in the Ashbourne Manor area on Wednesday 7th May.

It was reported that the theft occurred shortly after 11am on Wednesday morning.

A white coloured Vauxhall Grandland or Frontera vehicle was seen in the area at the time of the theft and left in the direction of the Woodbourne Road.

Constable McDonald said: "We would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around this time to contact police.

"We'd be particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or other footage.

"Additionally, if you have been offered any tools for sale in unusual circumstances - please let us know.

"The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1196 of 07/05/26."
