Police in Strabane have seized suspected drugs and made two arrests.
The seizure of suspected Class A, B and C drugs and arrests were made after officers attended an address in the town shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday evening, 11 March.
A man aged 38 years old was arrested on suspicion of offences including Possession of a Class A controlled drug, Possession of a Class B controlled drug, Possession of a Class C controlled drug, Possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply and Possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and dishonestly using electricity. He remains in custody at this time.
A second man, aged 29, was arrested on suspicion of Possession of a Class A controlled drug and he remains in custody at this time.
A Police Service spokesperson said: "We know the sale and use of illicit drugs is an issue of concern across Derry City & Strabane, and tackling this issue is one of our District priorities. However, we also rely upon information from the public whose support is crucial in helping us to tackle the scourge of drugs. With the help of the public, we can focus our efforts on identifying those who make their living by bringing drugs to our streets and neighbourhoods.
