Two people have been arrested in Derry/Londonderry on suspicion of drug-related offences.  
District Support Team (DST) officers made the arrests in the city last night, Tuesday 25 June, as part of an ongoing investigation.  
A man, aged 35 years old and a woman, aged 30 years old, were arrested shortly before 9pm. They were both arrested on suspicion of offences including being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug, and attempted possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply. Both persons arrested have been released on bail to allow for further enquiries to be conducted.

DST Inspector Pearce said: "We are doing all we can to prevent and detect as much drug-related activity as possible, and we’re urging anyone with any information about suspected drug dealing in their area to report it to us on the non-emergency number 101.
