Appeal for information

Wednesday’s searches were led by Derg Neighbourhood Policing Team assisted by colleagues from Tactical Support Group, Neighbourhood teams from the city, and the Dog Unit, with Police Dog Harry.

Sergeant Harkin from Derg NPT said: "We are working with colleagues, from across the Police Service, to disrupt crime, take drugs off our streets and keep people safe. We reassure you we will continue to proactively investigate and carry out searches linked to the drugs trade to identify those involved.

"However, we also rely upon information from the public whose support is crucial in helping us to tackle the scourge of drugs. With the help of the public, we can focus our efforts on identifying those who make their living by bringing drugs to our streets and neighbourhoods.”
