Police are investigating a report of criminal damage to a property in the Belvoir Drive area of Belfast in the early hours of Saturday morning, 21st March.

Sergeant Burgess said: “Shortly after five am, it was reported that a boat had been set alight outside a house.

“Officers attended the scene together with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

“Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries.

“Enquiries are ongoing, and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information which might assist, to get in touch.

“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 213 of 21/03/26.”
