Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a reported burglary at a house in Lisburn.
Detective Inspector Lewis said: “The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime between 1pm on Saturday, 6th June and 11.30am Sunday, 7th June at a property in the Woodland Avenue area.
“Thankfully, the house was unoccupied at the time – and we believe entry was gained by forcing open a rear window.
“Rooms were ransacked and jewellery was taken from the property. Our enquiries are ongoing, and we would appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 579 07/06/26.
"We would also ask local residents to check their CCTV/doorbell footage or dash-cam footage."
