Detectives in Ballymena are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a burglary in the Broughshane area.

Detective Sergeant Macaulay said: “A report was received that entry was gained to a house in the Rathkeel Road area at around two am this morning, Sunday 17th May.

“It was subsequently discovered that a sum of cash had been taken.

“It is also believed that the same property was entered at around two am on Friday 15th May.

“Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.

“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 382 of 17/05/26.”
