Detectives are appealing for information following a report of an armed robbery at business premises at the Agincourt Avenue area of South Belfast on Saturday 1st March.
Detective Sergeant Faulkner said: “At around 4:25pm, it was reported that a man entered an off-licence in the area. It was reported the man threatened two male members of staff with a knife during the incident. Thankfully there were no injuries, however, this was undoubtedly a traumatic incident for staff and happened on a busy Saturday afternoon. It was reported the offender made off on foot with a sum of money and a quantity of tobacco towards the Botanic Avenue area following the incident.
“The man is described as 5”10 in height, wearing a black coloured jacket with a grey hood, black bottoms and light-coloured trainers. He is believed to have been wearing a blue coloured surgical style mask and a red glove.
“Anyone with any information about this incident or who captured any dash-cam or CCTV footage in the area that may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call detectives in Musgrave, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1079 01/03/25.
