Detectives in Lisburn are appealing for information and witnesses following a number of reports of burglaries in the Rosevale Avenue area of Dunmurry yesterday evening, Monday 27th October.
Detective Sergeant McNay said: “Shortly before 8.25pm, it was reported that entry had been gained to a house and the property ransacked. At this stage, it is not believed that anything was taken.
“The occupant was not at home at the time of the incident, however, has understandably been left very upset as a result of it.
“A short time later, shortly before 8.40pm, it was reported that entry had been gained to a second property in the same area.
“It was reported that medication for dogs, and a chip and pin machine, were missing.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch. The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1390 of 27/10/25.”
