Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of a robbery at commercial premises in Belfast city centre yesterday evening, Sunday 24th August.
Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: “It was reported that at around 7.10pm, a man entered premises on Chichester Street brandishing a needle and demanded that a female staff member open the till.
“He was described as being approximately 5 ft 5 ins in height, and dressed in a grey tracksuit.
“The suspect was reported to have taken a sum of cash, and left the scene in the direction of Upper Arthur Street.
“Enquiries are underway, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, or who might have any information which could assist, to get in touch.
“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1454 of 24/08/25.”
