Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses in relation to a report of a robbery at commercial premises on the Lisburn Road in south Belfast yesterday evening, Tuesday 23rd April.
Detective Sergeant Magee said: “It was reported that shortly before 9pm, a masked man entered the premises and approached a member of staff at the counter and demanded that the till was opened.
“The suspect made off with a sum of cash, as well as a number of tobacco products and a quantity of alcohol.
“He was described as being approximately six ft in height, aged between 40 and 50, and wearing a white and silver rain jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms, dark coloured shoes, and rubber gloves.
“Enquiries ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who might have any information which could assist us, to get in touch.
“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 1522 of 22/04/25.”
