Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the disappearance and murder of 25-year-old Lisa Dorrian, have made a further arrest.
A 40-year-old man was arrested in Millisle earlier today, Wednesday 4 March, on suspicion of assisting offenders and withholding information.
Detective Chief Inspector Kerrie Foreman said: “The arrest comes days after the 21st anniversary of Lisa’s disappearance and murder.
“It’s been 21 long and painful years for Lisa’s loving family. They have never given up their search for answers and justice and, likewise, our determination remains steadfast.
“I would appeal to anyone with information to contact us on 101.”

For guidance: A woman, aged 40, and a man, aged 42, arrested on Wednesday 25 February on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
