Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating an attack on Lurgan Police Station in March have made a further arrest.

Searches of a number of properties were carried out in the Portadown area earlier this morning, Thursday 9 July, and a number of items, including electronic devices, were seized.

A 35-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act, and remains in police custody at this time.

The attack, which put innocent lives at risk, took place on the night of Monday 30 March.

The investigation is continuing, and police have reiterated their appeal for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
