A 39-year-old man has been charged with a number of drug-related offences as part of an investigation by detectives from The Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch (OCB).
The man is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 10th January, charged with a number of drug related offences including possession of class B drug, possession of a class C controlled drug and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug, Conspiracy to fraudulently import a class B controlled drug and possession of and converting criminal property.
He is also charged with traffic offences, including driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
OCB Detective Inspector MacCionáoith said: “Targeting drugs supply is a priority for the Police Service and we work tirelessly to tackle every aspect of drug supply and misuse in our area.
