Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force carried out a number of searches in properties in Belfast and Holywood today, Monday, 17th November.

The searches are part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug criminality linked to the West Belfast UDA.

Commenting, Detective Inspector Maguire said: “These searches resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected Cannabis and a number of mobile phones.

“Our enquiries remain ongoing and we would like to thank the local community for their continued support and we will continue to act on the information you provide us.

“I would encourage anyone with information about the supply or use of illegal drugs to contact police on 101.”
