Four people arrested, over the assault of two male tourists in Belfast city centre on Tuesday night, 28th October, have been charged.

All are to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court later today, Thursday 30th October.

A 34-year-old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and disorderly behaviour.  A 28-year-old man has been charged with attempted GBH with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. 

Meanwhile, a woman (38) has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and a 22-year-old woman charged with common assault and disorderly behaviour. 

As is procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
