Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a reported burglary in Newtownards on Tuesday, 4th June.
Detective Inspector Bell said: “Officers received a report that a burglary had taken place in the Sketrick Island Park area of the town at some point between 2.00pm and 2.45pm, when the resident was not present.
“The property was ransacked and a large sum of money stolen.
“We would appeal to anyone who noticed anything out of the ordinary in the area to make contact with us on 101, quoting reference 1175 of 04/06/24.
“We would be especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile footage of the area that we could review.”
