Detectives from the Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Department, based in Lisburn, have charged three people to court.

The charges follow an investigation into the sudden deaths of two men in the greater Lisburn area, in May and August of 2023.

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with a number of drug-related offences, including being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, and administering poison to aggrieve.

A 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have both been charged with possession of a Class C controlled drug.

The three are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 12th August.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
