Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit investigating a fatal collision in the York Street area of north Belfast on Thursday, 16th July have charged a man to court.
The 22-year-old has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving and other driving-related offences.
The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday 17th July.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
