Detectives continuing to investigate sporadic disorder in June have charged a man to court.
The 40-year-old was arrested on Friday morning, 10th July in connection with a protest in the Antrim Road and Sandyknowes Roundabout area on Wednesday, 10th June when a lorry was set alight.
He has been charged with riot, unlawful assembly, criminal damage, and arson endangering life.
The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 11th July.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
