Police, investigating the report of a stabbing incident in Conlig on Tuesday 7th January, have made two arrests.
Detective Sergeant Cargin said: "Our investigation into the incident, in which a man sustained a number of stab wounds at a property in the Breezemount Close area of Conlig last Tuesday, has been progressing rapidly and has now resulted in the arrest of a 38 year old man on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and a 34 year old woman on suspicion of assisting offenders. Both were arrested at an address in Bangor on Friday 10th January and currently remain in police custody.
