Officers from the Local Policing Team in Ballymena have seized suspected Class A and Class B controlled drugs and a large sum of cash following a search at a house.
Inspector Roxborough said: “Officers conducted a proactive search of a property in the Ballymena area on Saturday 30th May. As a result, a quantity of drugs and cash were seized and taken away for further forensic examinations.
“A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drugs related offences and remains in police custody at this time.
“Our officers will continue to protect communities from the harm of illegal drugs. As a result of this excellent police work, a large quantity of suspected dangerous controlled drugs are now safely off our streets.
