Detectives investigating a serious assault in Ballymena in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 22nd June, have made an arrest.
A 20-year-old man was arrested in Ballymena this afternoon on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody at this time.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries is asked to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 166 22/06/25.
