Police investigating two separate reports of police vehicles being rammed in Belfast on Thursday, 13th November and Friday, 14th November have charged a man to court.
A 41-year-old has been charged with a number of driving-related offences in relation to the incident which took place on Friday, 14th November at Bloomfield Avenue in east Belfast. The charges include driving with excess alcohol in breath, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, resisting police and assault on police.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Friday, 12th December.
As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A 43-year-old man, arrested in west Belfast on Thursday, 13th November on suspicion of offences including dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol in breath and aggravated taking and driving away, has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
