A man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

It follows a fire at an apartment building in the Stewartstown Road in west Belfast on Tuesday afternoon, 21st April. 

The 26-year-old man was charged to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 22nd April. 

As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
