Detectives investigating the stabbing of two women in Downpatrick on Friday, 14th March have charged a man to court.
The man, aged 26, has been charged with a number of offences including two counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today, Saturday 15th March.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
