Detectives investigating the report of a burglary and assault at residential premises in the Gardenmore Walk area of west Belfast on Thursday 16th July have charged a man to appear at court.

The 59 year old man has been charged with intimidation, criminal damage and burglary and is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday 20th July. He will also be reported to the Public Prosecution Service for the offence of assault. Two other men, aged 56 and 70, who were arrested on suspicion of intimidation in relation to the incident, have since been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries to be conducted.
