A man arrested by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Serious Crime Branch following searches in north Belfast this morning, Wednesday 15th July, has been charged to court.
The 27-year-old has been charged with a number of offences including being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug.
He is expected to appear before Belfast magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 12th August.
The searches were part of a proactive investigation into drug criminality linked to the New IRA
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
