A man has been charged to court following the seizure of £1.4 million class A drugs in Warrenpoint earlier today, Thursday 16th April. 

The 53-year-old will appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Friday morning, 17th April, on a number of charges including possession of class A controlled drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug.

As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
