Police investigating reports of tampering with motor vehicles in south Belfast on Sunday, 19th January have charged a man to court.
The 35-year-old has been charged with five counts of interference with vehicles, theft and common assault.
Reports of vehicle tampering and related offences were made in the Deramore Avenue, South Parade and Kimberley Drive areas of south Belfast.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning, 21st January
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The man was also arrested on suspicion of vehicle tampering on the same date in the Rosemount Gardens and Dunmore Mews areas of north Belfast.
A report will be submitted in due course to the Public Prosecution Service for consideration in relation to the north Belfast related occurrences.
