A 21-year-old man arrested in Derry/Londonderry after a vehicle failed to stop for police has been charged with a number of offences to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 13 May.
The offences include dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, using a motor vehicle without insurance and taking a motor vehicle without authority. As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The man was arrested by District Support Team officers following the incident which occurred in the city on Sunday evening, 11 May.
