A 32 year old man has been charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and affray.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday 27th July. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to a report of a stabbing incident in Belfast City Centre on Saturday 25th July.
