A 36 year old man has been charged with burglary, in charge when unfit through drink or drugs, no driving licence, taking a motor vehicle without authority and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17th December. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
For guidance – the charges are in relation to a report of a creeper style burglary which occurred at the Meehan Terrace area of Derry / Londonderry on Monday 16th December. A red Nissan Qashqai, which was stolen during the incident, was later recovered by police.
