Police have charged a 41-year-old man following his arrest on the M2 on Monday, 29th December.

He has been charged with a number of offences including failing to stop for police, driving whilst unfit through drunk or drugs and possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is expected to appear before Limavady Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 31st December.

As is usual procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
