Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Branch have charged a man to court following his arrest on Friday, 22nd August in north Belfast.

The 34-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including possessing articles for use in terrorism, threats to kill, possession of explosives with intent to endanger life, possessing explosives in suspicious circumstances and a number of firearm related offences.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court on Thursday, 4th September.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
